Why tradies come to us

Carpentry, without the paperwork headache.

The Carpentry trade contractor licence is one of the most common trade licences in Queensland. It covers framing, formwork, fixing and other carpentry trade work. Carpenters contracting directly for building work above the QBCC threshold need this licence to operate legally.

1

Carpenters wanting to contract directly rather than subcontract

2

Framing and fixing businesses quoting residential projects

3

Tradespeople with apprenticeship or site experience seeking their own licence

Quick answers

Common questions

Do you lodge the application with the QBCC for me?

We prepare, advise and organise your full application pack so it's ready to lodge. The QBCC makes the final licensing decision. Our job is to make sure your application is right before it gets there, so it isn't knocked back over a missing document.

How long does a pathway check take?

Most enquiries get an initial response within one business day once we have your details. We'll tell you the likely licence class, what evidence you'll need, and any gaps to fix before you spend money on the wrong process.

What does it cost?

Fixed fees, no surprises. The onboarding pathway check is $100 (normally $200) until 30 June, and the trade licence application is $695, all ex GST. You'll know the full cost before you commit.

Is this only for Queensland?

Yes, Queensland QBCC only. We don't spread thin across every state, which is exactly why we know QBCC requirements cold.
